So beautiful outside!

And yet I have been cooped up all weekend inside at work.  I’m sick of always having to work weekends because I never have the energy to get up in the morning to go work out and when I come home I’m dead.  But on the bright side I will have the next 3 weekends off and hopefully plenty more nice weather to go around. 

Now that I’m trying to get the hang of things again, I want to figure out a way to balance life a little better.  Lately I have been having to work at 4:30 am and that means I’m up at 2:30 to start getting ready.  And I can never get to bed until 9 or 10 at night.  It’s no fun at all and I need to start getting decent rest so I am able to work out later in the day.  But then again, I’m always the first one to make excuses. 

I have to get out of the habit of making excuses and getting into the habit of working out and enjoying it again.

So much to work on but it’s time to make myself better.  To be happy and healthy is much ultimate goal.

Chobani Citrus Splash!

Here is my refreshing mid morning snack! The weather is so hot today and I’m about to go take a swim! I cut up 1/4 of a grapefruit and crushed it, then I added it to my plain fat free yogurt with 1 packet of truvia. I topped it with Fat Free Reddi whip, pink sprinkles and a couple grapefruit slices on the side! It’s a perfect protein fix.
